These were fun to make and took almost no time with the exception of the "Mahalo" stamp. I designed the stamp in Word and then converted it to PDF so that I could down load it to http://www.rubberstamps.net/. Total for the stamp $12 and the bags were $8 with shipping. I used coupons from JoAnn's and Michael's for to get the stamp pads for $4 each. I found Colorbox works best and doesn't bleed or rub off once dry.
I purchased these small lunch boxes from Michael for $2.50 each. They had pink but I had to buy red and Fred painted them orange. He actually masked off each little detail so they looked like they came already painted orange. We are filling them with toy fish, coloring book, crayons, and pirate/mermaid figures. I found small wooden flowers and palm trees and super glued them. Each of the kids is in preschool or going into kindergarten so I think they will keep them busy during the reception.
